The operational Greengrow Capital facility has exclusive rights to be a fully licensed cultivator and producer of legal cannabis, currently able to deliver 3 tonnes of high-grade medicinal cannabis per annum for use in the pharmaceutical industry.
The license, 1 of only 5 granted in South Africa to date, affords the considerable expansion of operations of up to 146 tonnes per annum. Orange River Capital intends to secure a majority 49% equity holding and provide capital funding to expand current production capacity by over 300% in the next 2 – 3 years.
The Greengrow facility is secured upon the highly regarded 1000 acre El Passo Farm, situated just 30km from Pretoria, the executive capital of South Africa. El Passo Farm is owned and managed by the renowned Dr Brylyne Chitsunge, and expert in molecular medicine and the first Pan African Ambassador for Food Security.
Dr Chitsunge is one of South Africa’s most successful women in both business and politics, also being an internationally acclaimed expert in agribusiness.
